Born into a family owned jewelry store, Gino has over 36 years of experience in all facets of the industry.
Gino is a graduate of UWO with a degree in Economics; Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA); Certified Personal Property Appraiser, from International Society of Appraisers (ISA); Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP); graduate of jewelry making from the Ecole de Bijoux, in Montreal, Canada; Member of National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA), and a Rhino 3D AutoCAD jewelry design expert.
As an active jewelry appraiser, Gino was one of the first to implement appraisals while you wait and watch, in order to give his customers peace of mind.
Regardless of where you purchased your jewelry, Gino will give you an unbias evaluation, so that you know what you have and what it's really worth. More importantly he will NOT try to sell you!
Mopsy T. Chirico, GG, GIA
Mopsy started creating jewelry at the tender age of 8! She used her fathers needle nose pliers and twisted copper wire into rings, pendants and earrings. From those humble beginnings Mopsy became the first female jeweler in the city of Baton Rouge.
Mopsy honed her skills as a custom jeweler designer while working in Beverly Hills, California. Her designs have always been on the cutting edge. In fact, while working in Beverly Hills, Mopsy designed the first tension setting. She even won the admiration and respect of Master Jewelers who told her that her design would never work. Today, tension set gemstones are use through out the entire industry.
Mopsy is a graduate of LSU with a degree in Merchandising; Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA); Certified Personal Property Appraiser, from International Society of Appraisers (ISA), and gifted jewelry designer.
